The Ground Floor Service: Prevention Program
This service is designed to help keep children in their home or support reunification. It focuses on two primary goals:
- To provide clients in prevention or foster care cases with a strong start in addressing physical and environmental neglect.
- To support caseworkers in their prevention or reunification efforts by eliminating physical and environmental barriers, enabling the child(ren) to safely remain in or return to their home.
We assess the physical and environmental condition of the home and assist by decluttering and deep cleaning. Throughout the cleaning process, we evaluate physical and environmental needs while collaborating with clients to problem-solve. Additionally, we identify and address basic safety concerns to ensure a secure living environment for the child(ren).
Grounded Growth: A Parent Enrichment Program
This service is a transformative parent and guardian enrichment program designed to empower and support individuals in their caregiving journey. Through practical tools, expert guidance, and community connection, this program helps parents and guardians to build strong, nurturing foundations for their children’s growth while fostering their own personal development.
The primary goals of this program are:
- To promote healthy family dynamics by strengthening communication, offering emotional support, and teaching positive discipline practices.
- To foster personal growth and well-being in caregivers, enabling them to better support their children’s development.
Groundwork Transport
This service offers safe, dependable, and convenient transportation for families and young individuals. We focus on comfort and security while ensuring timely arrivals, making it easier for families or youth to attend activities, appointments, court hearings, school commitments, and other destinations
